Good Day Uncut airs Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to Noon as a live broadcast.
ZummoBike has been invited to showcase our shop, our young people, and the mission behind everything we do. The 22-minute program is divided into four live segments.
On Tuesday, July 8, we’ll present a special preview to the Haddonfield Rotary Club, whose members have supported ZummoBike for the past eight years.
This year, instead of a traditional presentation, we’ll conduct a full rehearsal of the television show. One of our Zummo dads and mentors, Baker, will play the role of Hank Flynn, asking the same kinds of questions viewers will hear during the live broadcast. Our young people will lead the tour, introducing the shop, explaining what they do, and sharing what they’ve learned.
This isn’t just a tour of a bike shop. It’s a look inside a workforce development program where young people build responsibility, leadership, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through real work.
When it’s over, we hope people remember more than bicycles. We hope they remember that ZummoBike is a workforce development program disguised as a bike shop.
We’ll finish by asking the Rotary members for candid feedback on what resonated most and where we can improve. Their insights will help us fine-tune our message before the live broadcast the following week.
